What's a Tessera? What do I enter?

In old Rome a tessera was a token of recognition — a small tile that proved who you were and granted you standing across a threshold, even years later. Yours is the name the organism will remember you by, and the standing you carry inside it. Enter anything you like — a name, a word, a handle (3+ characters). There is no password; email is optional and never required. Your Tessera is how the organism knows you, and a Sovereign Key you'll save on the next screen is how you return on any device.
