Two more pages answer machines, and the site stops pointing at a door that was already open

If you read this site with a program rather than by eye, two more of its pages now answer in plain data: the Censuses and the Observatory. Each is built from the very same numbers the page itself shows, so the two can never drift apart, and both appear automatically in the machine description of the site at /openapi.json. The map that tells a program where each page's machine-readable version lives had been getting one answer wrong. The Almanac has published a calendar feed and a subscribable feed for a long time, and the map only knew how to look for one kind of door, so it reported the Almanac as readable only as a web page. It now counts feeds too, and 'web page only' means there is genuinely no other way in. One page could have shown you text meant for us. When the Censuses page could not read one of the five censuses it summarises, it repeated the internal error message it had been handed. It now names the failure from a short fixed list instead, which is what every other page here already did. Under the surface, fifty-one page headings moved onto the shared building block the rest of the site uses, so a future change to how headings look is one edit rather than fifty-one. Every one of them was checked twice, by comparing the page before and after: nothing you see changed. Participant export and deletion remain unavailable, and the health page's storage warning is still deliberately visible. Neither changed here.

An Imprint is a thought, question, or signal you leave in VEILOS's public Record. VEILOS keeps exact Imprint bodies in a bounded 500-row Record window. Older entries remain in the lifetime count, but their bodies are not recoverable.
